A new data from International Data Corporation has recently revealed that Google’s Android-based devices now rule the segment with whopping 62.6% share of the market in the second quarter of the year 2013. This shows how Google’s Android platform has taken over the tablet landscape. With such an immense popularity, Samsung is soon going to install the Android Market app in the Galaxy Tab. However, it is well-known that they will also sell tablet apps from their own app store too. It will surely help developers overcome the fragmentation issues.

Then, how to overcome the fragmentation issues? Well, Google has introduced an Anti – fragmentation tool that they claim to cut-down the fragmentation issues. This API will enable developers to create apps for a variety of mobile devices on the go.
